If all women were like the woman that I dated that digged polymethyl methacrylate, they would NOT be interesting or into scifi (apart from Dr Who). Thankfully we both moved on and married others so hopefully her spouse is happy in other areas that aren't geeky.
p.s. this wasn't trying to be snarky but the message of that strip was SO wrong from my experience, well...

For me, I would like have a wife with average person, independent, happy go lucky and most important caring. I wish to have a wife with these characteristics.

My (now deceased) wife and I were quite happy for 25 years. I was a US Army Ranger and she was a conservative pacifist.
