Friday's strip. Dangerous, oversimplified stereotype? Yes.
Nonetheless true? Yes.

Although usually I'm reading a book.

I was on a flight, sitting between two fellows speaking in Sign Language. Had I known pre-flight, I'd have swapped seats so the could sit together. Halfway into the flight they got into a vivid conversation. I ended up with a couple bruised ribs because one of them was the size of an NFL linebacker and was really getting into the discussion and didn't realize where his elbows were going until I signaled for him to chill a bit.

Great way to start my Monday morning reading this strip. I agree - this Canadian agrees too!

Having spent time in Canada, and trained with Canadian Forces, yes, it is an accurate stereotype. Canadians are in general a pleasant folk, even the Quebecois. However, syrupy sweetness and goody-goodness can become cloying on a longish flight of, say, more than six hours. On a flight to Singapore I had thoughts of either suicide or cruel murder about a couple of Canadian nationals. Their attitude can be a great weapon for them. Put them in charge of the UN. They are, also, for the far greater part, scrupulously honest. I prefer someone with just a little bit of larceny in their soul. Saints can be tiring.

I agree, but if this were about trains, I would totally disagree.
Canadians backpack. Everywhere. And when they do, they forget the reason that they love Canada and its weather: they don't have to use as much deodorant.
One train trip during a European summer with a hipster Canadian backpacker in your car, and you understand why the French threw them out, why the English didn't make `em stay, and how they won the #@!%@! War of 1812. "FORM UP...MAKE READY...LOFT ARMPITS...NOW! Okay, Quebec's all clear, let's go get our lakes back, eh?"

And they also sew little Maple Leaf flags on everything they own in several places so that in case of terrorist attack, they will not be mistaken for Americans.
You can tell the difference by the accent. "Oot" and "aboot".

I am going to TGI Fridays on friday and I would like to know what would be a healthier option and how many calories are in these meals as I worry when it comes to eating out.
